I am a 5th generation Colorado Native, living and breathing horses for as long as I can remember. Throughout my life I have drawn, painted and sculpted the figure of the horse, experimenting with all color and medium. As I worked my way through a Fine Art degree at the University of Southern Colorado, I favored sculpture, and began an exploration that expresses metaphor through a stylized, often whimsical creation. My many years of experience with my own horses, as well as those brought into the rescue, gave me more depth of purpose and understanding of the equine personality; and how to express it in my work.
My work can be found at Spirits in the Wind Gallery, Golden, CO, True West Gallery, Santa Fe, NM, The Dancing Wolf Gallery, Elbert, CO, the Koshare Indian Museum, La Junta, CO, Hunter-Wolff Gallery, Colorado Springs, CO, and on the website!
